This is the eponymous tomb of a group (Bargrennan cairns) whose siting is restricted to a small part of Galloway and Ayrshire.
The top photograph shows the entrance passage, looking north, while the bottom photograph shows the capstone.
The site can be accessed via a footpath leading between the houses in the small village of Glentrool.
