Gamelands

This is a neat little circle found in the corner of a soggy field on a wet day and poorly photographed with an ailing camera!

It's not difficult to find being in a field to the right of a farm track, easily accessible from the road.

I visited the circle with just the sheep for company and the enclosing weather made it feel quite 'cosy'

Burl says there were originally 42 stones but some have been blasted, buried or used to build nearby walls.
