These photographs show two bronze age round barrows in Dalby forest.
As you can see they lie in an area that until recently was heavily
wooded and it is only due to recent logging operations that they have
become visible.
The top photo shoes the northernmost
howe, the second the southern howe, while the third is a small
panoramic view showing both howes in relation to each other.
Both howes are in quite good condition though there has been some disturbance by older excavations and by badgers.
