Great Edstone

This church has Saxon origins and has been much altered over the years.

An item of interest is the sundial over the door with an unfinished inscription which reads "Lothan Me Wrothe A ......." which translates as "Lothan made me". It also bears a Latin inscription, "Horologi viatorum", which means 'Traveller's Clock".
