Mum and baby scared away by playful ghost
|
A terrified mum says she and her baby daughter have been driven out of their home by a ghost - who plays with toys.
Jane Malpass became so worried about things going bump in the night that she called in a local vicar to act as a ghostbuster.
"I felt there was somebody else in the room with me. At first I thought
I was imagining things but then things started moving," said Miss
Malpass.
"My little girl's toys would be moved and it was as though somebody was playing with them."
Miss Malpass called in Rev Tom Willis, of Holy Trinity Church,
Bridlington, to bless her flat on Albion Terrace, Bridlington, but she
was already looking for a different home.
She has since discovered that a young couple lived in her former flat
with a little girl who died. The father had then murdered his wife.
"I told Mr Willis that I thought it could have been a child,
particularly as it seemed to play with my little girl's toys," she
added. Since moving to a new flat off Flamborough Road, Miss Malpass
has had no more bother.
