Pickering Castle

St Nicholas' church sits within the walls of Pickering Castle (English Heritage). It is a simple building with nothing remarkable within it. It originated in the thirteenth century and has been used for various puproses since. It has been restored several times, most recently in the twentieth century when it was re-roofed.
