This was once a grand cistercian abbey, the ruins still give a feeling of its original grandeur and it lies in a peaceful valley disturbed only by the occasional train passing.
The photographs below show some of the remaining buildings and the fine sedilia.
At the bottom is a green man found in the abbey and now on show in the visitor centre. |
