This large circle sits in a field north of Dumfries, it is quite large (260 feet) and therefore difficult to photograph, I assume it would be best seen
from the air.
There are only eleven stones remaining and only five of these still
stand. Burl says the south-west alignment is good for the midwinter
sunset.
