This church is approached through a tunnel of ancient yew trees. Once inside it is a wide building with a very wide north aisle.
The
chancel houses some superbly carved misericords, three of which are
shown below as green man carvings, though one may be a cat-like animal.
The
rest of the church has Romanesque relics such as the chancel arch, the
south aisle has a few corbels, once on the exterior, but I could not
make out what they represent.
In the north aisle there
are some tombs, one bears a rather morbid collection of bones sculpted
on the outside, it took my fancy so a photo is included below.
