A fairly plain looking church from the outside and not much different inside.
Whilst
there I was approached by a gentleman I took to be the vicar, he asked
what I was doing and why, where I came from and what I wanted to do
with the photographs of the interior. Apparently he was concerned
posting them on the internet would aid burglars. I agreed therefore not
to do so.
There was one carving of interest, it was of a
cat head which appeared to be spewing something though this was not
obviously foliage, this resided on the chancel arch. There was also a
carved head on a single corbel in the north aisle.
