This is a pleasant church in the village of Stillington. It
originates mainly in the 13th and 14th centuries and was rebuilt in the
1840s. Its interior was nothing special to me except for a few green
man carvings.
These were all on the woodwork around the
church which was carved by 'Mouseman' Thompson in the 1930s. Not as
ancient as I would have liked but nice to see all the same. Two
examples are shown below.
