Commondale Moor

Stone Circle
NZ 637 108
common.jpeg

A circle of around twenty low-lying stones difficult to see until close. Most of them are no more than a foot in height. The mound left of centre in the photograph is composed of loose rocks and Burl believes this is the remains of a grouse butt.
