Glaisdale Rigg

This stone I found when visiting the Hart Leap Stones , it was visible a little way across the moors. There is no sign of any markings upon it nor of any other upright stones. There are a great many large stones lying in the immediate vicinity but whether any of these were ever upright or had any connection to this stone I've no idea.

A check with the archaeological officer did not produce any further information except that it has been recorded on more than one occasion.
