Grey Horse Stone

 Standing Stone
NZ 952 009

This stone is apparently one of three known as a druidic triangle (Knox, R. 1855. Descriptions Geological, Topographical, and Antiquarian in Eastern Yorkshire
Between the Rivers Humber and Tees. 1855) and stands alongside the Lyke Wake Walk on the edge of Fylingdales Moor.

Legend says it was thrown by a giant and the impressions of his fingers can still be seen in its side
