Walcott

This large church stands by the side of the coast road in Walcott, passed by thousands of holidaymakers each year probably without a second thought.

Exploring its interior shows us a large airy church, mostly 14th and 15th century but on the site of an earlier building. There is a fragment of masonry, shown below, which is probably from that building.

The chancel has a nice sedilia and Piscina .
